He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wallace Gayhart and Anna Agnes Gayhart (Helmick); and his granddaughter Jennifer Wickle. He is survived by: his wife Greta Gayhart (Baker) of Verona; his children, Jeff McDaniel (Jane) of Verona, Greg McDaniel (Cathy) of Staunton, Roger McDaniel (Debbie) of West Virginia, Dennis Gayhart of Waynesboro, Johnna Hanger (Scott) of Verona and Brenda Rankin of Greenville; his sister Agnes Fitzgerald (Gayhart) of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Katie, Atlee, Conner, Ray, Jason, Amanda and Steve.
