She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Andrew and Anna Lee Trayer (Swearengin); and her brother Carl Andrew Trayer, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Gary Wayne Huffer; her daughters, Angela White (Charles D. White) of Martinsville, VA and Stefanie Huffer of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her grandchildren, Charles W. and Anna Lee White; her niece Becky Woodzell; and her nephew J. W. Trayer. She is also survived by cats and dogs her daughters.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sandra's memory to First Choice Hospice, 1819 Virginia Ave, Harrisonburg, VA 22802.
