It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Ann Wright of Verona, Virginia, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on June 3, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Baldwin Simpson and Sally Diggs (Dickerson). She is survived by: her children, Eric C. (Melissa) of Harrisonburg, Timothy S. (Angie) of Fishersville, Mildred Esther Martin (Leslie "Buck") of Harrisonburg, Stella Newman (Bernard) of Verona and Alexandria A. Nelson (Michael) of Verona; and her brothers, Curtis Dickerson of California, Albert Richardson of Lyndhurst, Isaac Diggs of Waynesboro and Bernard Simpson of Charlottesville. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
