With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace M. McGovern of Verona, Virginia, born in Norwich, New York, who passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Marvin and Mabel Ganoung Marvin; her husband Charles McGovern; and her siblings, Hazel Shanks, Arden, Daniel and Oliver Marvin.
She is survived by: her children, David, Donnie, Steven and Connie McGovern; her daughters-in-law, Teresa Ervin, Sandy, Cris, Jackie and Becky McGovern; her grandchildren, Kristen Kahn, Kasey Williams, Anthony Erin, Charles McGovern, Amber Hunt and Erin McGovern; her sister Ola Bates; and her close friends, Doris, Shirley, Sue and Teresa. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
