She was predeceased by: her spouse Jerry Winston Meeks of Verona; her parents, Wade Hampton and Ruth Frances White (Mynes); and her brother Ronald White (Ethel). She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Thornton (John "Buck") of Fort Defiance; her brother George Lynn White (Martha) of Charlotte; and her grandsons, Dylan and Colton Thornton. She is also survived by nephew, two nieces, two great-nephews, and one great-niece.
