He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lester and Flossie Nesselrodt Bolton. He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Bolton; his sons, Jeffrey Shawn Bolton of Crimora, Christopher Lee Carper of Verona and Richard Edward Carper (Lynn) of Tennessee; his siblings, Darrell Bolton of Richmond, Randy Bolton of Harrisonburg and Thelma Reich of Harrisonburg; and his grandchildren, Amanda Pittington, Hunter Carper, Kiser Bolton and Berkley Carper. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
