She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Crickenberger and Ruth Alley Crickenberger; her husband Dan Starrett; and her stepson Steven Glasgow Starrett (Julia) of Ford, VA. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to East Side Baptist Church, Veterans Food Drive, PO Box 362, Reidsville, NC 27323.
