With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evalena Argenbright Armstrong of Verona, Virginia, born in Mount Solon, Virginia, who passed away on October 13, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Nelson Armstrong, Sr. of Verona; her parents, Jacob Arthur and Elsie Argenbright (Eavers); and her brothers, Donnie and Mike Argenbright.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Armstrong, Jr. (Roxanne) of Swoope, Wayne Armstrong (Jane) of Mt. Solon and Nancy Carper (Eddie) of Verona; her grandchildren, Scotty Armstrong (Amanda), Tonya Armstrong, Michelle Sesny (Greg) and Jeremy Carper (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Hailey, Nelson, Heather, Hannah, Amber Armstrong, Gianna, Max, Joseph Sesny, Dorothy Carper and J. W. Carper, II; her great great grandchild Arriyah Armstrong; and her siblings, J. C. Argenbright of Staunton and Maxie Griffin of Verona.
