He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Spiggle Carter (Cline) of Verona; his son-in-law Ronald Wagner of Martinsville; his stepchildren, Richard A. Myers, Jr. (Rose), Kevin Ray Myers, Robert J. Spiggle, Joy Tinsley, Florence Parcell (Ben) and Grace Dick; his brother George; his sister-in-law Ruby Carter; his sister Eunice Vaughan; his granddaughter Deanna Wagner Tipton (Joey); and his great grandchildren, Allee and Asher Tipton. He is also survived by his wife, family members include a daughter.
