He is survived by: his spouse Jatanna Kay Rankin (Powers); his stepson James Humphreys of Staunton; his sisters, Janet K. Nuckoles of Staunton, Gloria R. McQuain of Fishersville and Brenda R. Whetsell (Tom) of Mt. Olive; and his granddaughters, Kimberly Humphreys of Verona and Jessica Guy (Brandon) of Staunton.
