She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay "Bill" and Ruby Irene Peters (Dickey); and her daughter Misty Crookshanks. She is survived by: her husband Douglas H. Crookshanks of Verona; her sons, Shawn Crookshanks (Sarah) of Grottoes and Chad Crookshanks of Staunton; her brothers, Russell (Sandy) and Gary Peters; her grandchildren, Kali Johnson, Makenna, Hannah, Savannah, Leila Crookshanks, Olivia Martin and Elias Crookshanks; and her great-niece Allison Peters.
