Baker of Verona, Virginia, born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisha David Russell and Lois Russell Ballance; her husband Charlie R. Baker; her sons, Bobby Stangler and Rudy Baker; and her brother Gene Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Stangler (Sharon), Lee Baker (Lisa), Pam Huggins, Gloria Baker and Cheryl Baker; her foster daughter Kathleen Durland; her grandchildren, Craig Harden (Sonya), Ryan Stangler, Meggan Huggins, LeAnn Smith, Tiffany Ivey (Sam), Tonya Todd (Joey), Jonathan Huggins, Joshua Baker (Lyndsey), Katlyn Baker and Debra Maya Baker; and her great grandchildren, Haleigh Huggins, Cameron Huggins (Meghan), Bruce Harden, Stone Smith, Alexis Smith, Maddie Ivey, Emma Ivey, Hailey Todd, Carter Todd, Alivia Stangler, Taylor Stangler, Blake Stangler and Kaisen Stangler. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifetime friends.
