With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Crenshaw Wilmoth of Vernon Hill, Virginia, born in Halifax, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2024 at the age of 73. Though Sarah Crenshaw may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sarah Crenshaw touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertram Roy Crenshaw Jr. and Selma Hamlett Crenshaw; her brother Otha W. Crenshaw; and her half-brother Kenneth Crenshaw. She is survived by: her significant other William B. "Bill" Conner; her son Kevin Roy Wilmoth (Aimee); her sister Bonnie Crenshaw Chatmon (Alvis); and her grandchildren, Jesse Logan Wilmoth, Lucas Brann Wilmoth and Samantha Nicole Wilmoth.
