He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Ray Duff, Sr. and Barbara Frechette Duff; his stepmother Charlotte Duff; his son Michael Lee Duff of Halifax County; his sisters, Charlotte Zuinga of Danville, Susan Gibbs of Danville, Peggy Hall of Destin, FLA, Jean Cosner of Danville, Bonnie Stevens and Helen Nelson of Danville; his stepsiblings, Beth Nestle of Danville and Matthew Williams of Okinawa; and his grandchildren, Trinity Duff and Nathaniel Duff.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Home Of Rockingham County, 2150 NC Hwy. 65, Reidsville, NC 27320.
