He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hagood Lloyd and Josephine Tharpe Lloyd; his grandparents, Emmett, Mittie Tharpe, Harvey and Nettie Lloyd; and his pet Roscoe.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Wilkes Lloyd; his son Shawn Michael Lloyd (Amanda); his sister Cathy Lloyd Barksdale (Bobby); his grandsons, Samuel Medley and Luke Lloyd; and his nieces and nephews, Bobby "B. J." Ray Barksdale Jr., Jeremy Barksdale (Brooke), Skylar Barksdale, Kaylin Barksdale and Nash Barksdale.
