He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Acre Ferrell and Frances "Elizabeth" Landrum Ferrell; and his close friend John Blair (Kerns). He is survived by: his pet Buddy; his wife Bonnie Joy Turner Ferrell; his children, Elizabeth "Ann" Tingen (Brent) of Vernon Hill and Michael Wayne Ferrell (Raven) of Vernon Hill; his grandchildren, Brandon Wayne Tingen, Samantha Brooke Ferrell, Maddie Lee Tingen and Jacob Michael Ferrell; his brother Edwin Dean Ferrell (Julie) of Roanoke; his nieces, Cassie "BooBoo" Lanette Ferrell Faircloth (Ricky), Summer Ferrell Honeycutt (Larry), Randi Ferrell Warner (Brian) and Jennie Ferrell Kimmer (Dee); and his nephew Cody Ferrell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (1603 Wilborn Ave, South Boston, VA 24592).
