He was predeceased by: his father John T. Vanover. He is survived by: his mother Helen Vanover (Vandyke); his wife Diana Charles Vanover; his daughters, Angela Akers (David) and Sara Bostic (Jody); his grandchildren, Mikayla Stovall, Alyssa Akers, Sierra Stovall, Amelya Bostic, Taylor Bostic, Honorary, Jonathan Hurley and Zachary Yates; and his brothers, Gerald Vanover (Linda) and Charlie Vanover (Brenda). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
