She is survived by: her children, Robert VanDyke (Angie) of Monroe, NC and Linda Renee VanDyke Boyd (Danny) of Grundy, VA; her siblings, Richard Wayne Smith (Judith) of Winston Salem, NC and Hazel Compton (Sammy) of Vansant, VA.; her grandchildren, Courtney Nicole VanDyke Yates (DJ), Katlin Elizabeth Boyd, Riley Sage VanDyke and Brandon Douglas VanDyke; her great grandchild Zachary Grey Yates; her niece Christie Gourdoux (Jim); and her nephews, Mark Compton (Snoda) and Colin Blaine Compton.
