Peggy Sue touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John B., Alice Fern Scott (Deel), George and Edna Strader Sr.; her brothers-in-law, Michael and Kermit Owens; and her parents-in-law, Tolby and Edna Mary Owens (Keen).
She is survived by: her parents, George N. Strader Jr. of Elkins, WV and Judy Carol Strader (Scott) of Vansant, VA; her children, Elizabeth Brooke Owens (Ethan Paul Mullins) of Abingdon, VA and Alexander Joseph "A. J." Owens (Sommer Fields) of Richlands, VA; her brothers, Johnathan David Strader of Little Garden, VA and Damien Strader of Elkins, WV; her grandchildren, Soren Alexander Mullins and Silas Everett Mullins; and her sisters-in-law, Caroline Fletcher (Jerry) of Homecreek, VA and Kathy Owens of Vansant, VA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Grundy Funeral Home (22208 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at the Mountain Valley Memorial Park (32350 Riverside Dr, Big Rock, VA 24603).
