She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cleveland and Mae VanDyke (Childress); her husband William Stanford "Red" Cook; and her siblings, Ida Pearl Runyon, Lucy Suttle, George, Claude, Pete, Dan, Fred and Guy VanDyke.
She is survived by: her sons, William Lee Cook (Chris) of Oakwood, VA, Jimmy Wayne "Lemon" Cook of Abingdon, VA and Philip Cook (Bernie) of Vansant, VA; her granddaughter Sommer Belcher (Brandon) of Bristol, VA; her great grandchild Kelsey Belcher; her sister-in-law Janice Cook; her niece Jane Moore; and her caregivers, Mary Ann Aylward, Chasity Osborne, Margaret Childress and Christy Hurley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
