She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Hayes and Julie Miller Hayes; her daughters, Felecia Kay Ellis and Karen Michelle Ellis; her siblings, Tommy Hayes (Helen), Arnold Hayes (Ida), Eugene Hayes (Evelyn), Russell Hayes (Maggie), Billy Ray Hayes (Bobbi), Donald Hayes (Geraldine), Christine Stiltner (Haven) and Nellie Scott (Burl); and her stepbrothers, Ralph Jude and Raymond Jude.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Dwain "Rick" Ellis of Vansant, VA; her sons, Roy Lee Ellis of Vansant, VA and Michael Dean Ellis (Carol) of Grundy, VA; her sisters, Ethel Marcum, Minnie Gail Jude and Hazel Hill; her grandchildren, Jordan Ellis (Rose Farris), Daniel Ellis (Sydney), Felecia Kay Sawyers (Danny), Brandon Lee Ellis and Ashley Dawn Owens; and her great grandchildren, Amber Michelle Sexton, Sheridan Owens, Shandi Owens and Blayze.
