She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Dotson and Virgie Dotson; her son Robert Ernest Owens; her siblings, Geraldine Ratliff, James Dotson and Sonny Dotson; her uncle Edd; her aunt Eleanor Looney; and her son-in-law Zack Stiltner.
She is survived by: her husband Garland Owens; her grandchildren, Leigha Stiltner of Lexington, KY, Jennifer Rice (Shannon) of Big Rock, VA, Taylor Johnson of Big Rock, VA, Elizabeth Thomas (Ryan) of Cincinnati, OH, Adam Stiltner (Harli Vance) of Richlands, VA, Jonathan Owens (Trish Smith) of Lexington, KY, Matthew Owens of North Carolina, Colby Owens of Texas, Jacob Owens of Illinois and Tanner Owens of Abingdon, VA; her daughter Scottie of Sevierville, TN; and also, Jessie and Nelma Elswick.
