He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lockhart and Mae L Bird; and his stepparents, Arbutus Lockhart and William Bird. He is survived by: his wife Linda Looney Lockhart of Vansant, VA; his children, Cindy Hurley (Ralph) of Jefferson City, TN, Jennifer Gearles (Dave) of Vansant, VA and Kenny Lockhart (Wendy) of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Hunter Hurley (Ansley), Hannah Hurley of Jefferson City, TN, Avery Lockhart and Walker Lockhart of Knoxville, TN.; and his brothers, Don Lockhart, Russell Lockhart and Matt Bird.
