It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Lee Wade of Vansant, Virginia, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Thomas Wade and Ollie Mae Shortridge Wade; and his sisters, Pauline Ward, Jean Wade and Shirley Wade.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jean Stiltner Wade of Vansant, VA; his children, Shelly Petrosky (Tim) of Bristol, VA, Melissa Webb (Raymond) of Vansant, VA and Barry Wade (Sheila) of Hickory, NC.; his grandchildren, Peyton Blankenship, Logan Wade, Braxton Petrosky, Allie Wade, Brynn Webb and Ember Webb; and his brothers-in-law, Billy Ratliff of Abingdon, VA and Eddie Dean Stiltner of Vansant, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
