We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2024, at the age of 95, Ruby Hibble Shackelford (Urbanna, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxwell Cary Hibble and Mary Magdalene Hibble; her sister Mary Maxine Hibble Williams; and her husband James Willie Shackelford. She is survived by: her children, Linda Jean Shackelford Ferguson and James Cary Shackelford (Virginia Shealy Shackelford); and her grandchildren, Valerie Reeves (Frank), Sarah Ferguson (Darryl), James C. Shackelford Jr. (Tammy), William E. Shackelford, Stephanie Spires, Landon Reeves, Madison Shackelford, Ruby Shackelford, Raylee, Mia, Lauryn, Onix and Luke Spires. She is also survived by many other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.
