It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Brown Birchard of Urbanna, Virginia, born in Locust Hill, Virginia, who passed away on May 6, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary D. Brown and Frank H. Brown; her husband Winfred Melton Birchard (Skeeter); her son-in-law James Wagner; her siblings, Mildred Wrightson, F. Hansel Brown and Joseph T. Brown; her sisters-in-law, Blanche Brown, Mary Ellen Brown and Myrtle Constantino (Snookie); and her nephews, Joseph and David Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Myra Birchard Wagner; her brother Thames H. Brown; her siblings-in-law, George Wrightson, Shirley Brown, Dolores Brown and Annie Jordan; and her nieces, Vicky Powell (Barry) and Shaaron Brown.
Internment following at Middlesex Memorial Cemetery. (Please wear a mask at these gatherings to protect at-risk family and friends.).
