It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Henry Haupt Jr. of Urbanna, Virginia, who passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Charles Haupt; and his stepson William Ruffin Creekmur. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Haupt; his sons, George Henry Haupt, III and Benjamin Graham Haupt (Tracie); his grandchildren, Rachel Haupt, William Haupt and Henry Haupt, IV; his brother Warren Haupt (Ann); his mother-in-law Ridgley Copland; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Pat Davis (Curtis), Jeff Copland (Tammy), Garnett Copland and Jan Haupt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Charles City, Urbanna or New Kent Volunteer Rescue Squads.
