It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Melvin Dize Sr. (Urbanna, Virginia), born in Tangier, Virginia, who passed away on April 17, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Florence; his sister June Doxtader; his children, Sue Carper (John), Chip Dize (Sandra) and Cathy Jesse (Roy); his grandchildren, Sara Anderson (David), Johnny Carper (Megan), Luke Dize (Susan), Matthew Dize (Ali), Elizabeth Marshall, Laura Browder and Olivia Jessie; and also, Carl and Cathy.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday at Faulkner Funeral Home, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda with Masonic Rites at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carl's memory to the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 71, Urbanna, VA 23175.
