He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane Christine; his children, Gregg and Patricia; his grandchildren, Euan, Sean, Helen and Craig; his parents, George Edwin Hurter and Agnes Monica Davis; and his sisters, Anne and Margaret. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in his name in the spirit of his two greatest passions – sailing (Sail Africa) and education (the Posse Foundation).
