He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cadd and Eleanor Cadd; his grandchildren, Lee Dillon III, Charles "Sonny" Dillon and Kayla Dillon; and his brothers-in-law, Butch Gibson and Richard Kreklow.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Cadd; his children, Michelle Dillon (Lee), Tracie Wheeler, Hope Cadd (Kevin) and Jon Sawyer (Dena); his grandchildren, Walker Dillon, Ashlie, Morgan, Jessica, Madilyn, A. J. Wheeler and Charlie Pruitt; his siblings, Carol Kreklow, Linda Gibson, Joyce Cunningham (Kendall) and David Cadd (Fawn); and his close friend Mike Tosh (Karen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers his family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society (1079 C Spruce Street, Martinsville, VA 24112).
