He is survived by: his wife Valerie Rivas; his stepchildren, Chrystal Casson of Roanoke and Brandon Casson of Union Hall; his son Edwin Rivas, Jr. of Wilm; his parents, Carlos R. Rivas and Lydia Vasquez of Wilm, DE; and his grandchildren, Kassen Henry De'Andra Rivas, Jeremiah Rivas, Ronan, Nioh Hunter and Neveah Rivas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family will accept donations towards expenses (265 Dillards Hill Rd, Union Hall, VA 24176).
