With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jasper Elbert Moyers Sr. (Troy, Virginia), who passed away on March 10, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Henry Moyers; his wife Barbara A. Moyers; and his siblings, Homer R. Moyers, Mary Frances Mitchell and Forrest H. Moyers.
He is survived by: his parent Edna Lee Rexrode Moyers; his son Jasper Moyers, Jr.; his stepchildren, Thomas Simpson, Sr., Ronnie Simpson, Ricky Simpson and Tina Clancy; his grandchildren, Ian McNett, Zachary McNett, Thomas Nelson Simpson, Jr. and Micky Clancy; and his siblings, Foster D. Moyers and Charlotte Kibler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
