James Bryant Garrison Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Bryant Garrison (Troy, Virginia), who passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bryant and Meta Stuart Gardner Garrison; his wife Oleta Dale Payne Garrison; his stepson Douglas Powell; and his sisters, Ruth Burger and Ruby Carpenter.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Harold Payne of Palmyra, Gloria Wood of Crozet and Brenda Dillard of Crozet; and his brothers, Henry Garrison of Earlysville and Jerry Garrison of Charlottesville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many much-loved nieces and nephews.
Masks and Social distancing will be required.
