He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Wayne Winsett of Boulder and Nancy Winsett Erkenbrack of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Erika (Ricky Chavis) of Virginia Beach, Amanda of Virginia Beach, Rick Wall of Virginia Beach and Kyle Winsett; his great grandchildren, Shane and Kaiden Chavis of Virginia Beach; his niece Kiera Hynninen of Washington, D. C.; his nephew Brett (Mariana); his great-nephew Ricky Hynninen of Massachusetts; his close friend Connie Chung; and also Gail Hynninen of Long Island.
