He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie L. Naylor and Cassie V. Naylor; his wife Barbara; his daughter Wanda; his siblings, Jean Clifton, James and Boyd; and his half-brother Thomas Elliot.
He is survived by: his children, Gail Pillow (Keith) and Charles Taylor Jr. (Sherry); his grandchildren, Keith Pillow, Jr., Kyle Pillow, Morgan Taylor, Cameron Taylor, Ryan Taylor and Evan Taylor; his great grandchildren, Connor, Princeton and Ja'Khari; and his nieces, Betty Batten (Hollis), Linda Jane Burnett (David) and Angelina Dennis (James).
