He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar L. Moran and Jesse C. Lowery Moran; his grandsons, Bobby Moran and DJ Moran; and his wife Ruby A. Spence Moran.
He is survived by: his children, Jake Moran (Doris) of Fincastle, Petie Moran of Craig County, Donnie Moran of Troutville and Janice Crawford (James) of Fincastle; and his sisters, Ruth McFalls (Richard) of Roanoke, Rosemary Lee of Fincastle and Irene Moran of Roanoke. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
