She is survived by: her mother Gloria Defibaugh Gibson; her husband Todd Palmer; her stepson Wesley Palmer of Bedford; her daughters, Shannon Abernathy (Taylor Perry) of Eagle Rock and Melanie Abernathy (Donald Bruce) of Covington; her sister Veronica Mills (David Matthew) of Fincastle; her niece Lori Ellen Grubb (Jacob) of Fincastle; her nephew Jonathan David Mills of Fincastle; and her great-nephew Asher Gunner Grubb.
