With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sterlie Waddell Jr. (Troutville, Virginia), born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on March 2, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterlie R. Waddell and Nellie H. Brown Waddell. He is survived by: his wife Carol Scaggs Wadell; his son Timothy Waddell; his daughter-in-law Pamela Waddell of Asheboro; his daughter Susan Waddell Jennings of Troutville; his grandchildren, Heather Murrell, Ryan Jennings, Hannah Hoover, Josh Dickens and Christian Dickens; his son Kasey; his brother Danny Waddell; his sister-in-law Nancy Waddell of Troutville; his sister Sylvia Waddell Dickerson (James Dunham) of Fincastle; and his close friend Ronny Wallace of Troutville. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
