He was predeceased by: his wife Amonette Dreama Underwood; his parents, Floyd Garfield and Pauline Melinda Underwood (Mills); and his siblings, Floyd "Pat" Underwood and Margaret Shearer.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Underwood (Claudia Anison) and Debbie Deacon (Curtis); his grandchildren, Morgan Leigh Deacon and C. Owen Deacon; his sisters, Helen Crawford and Barbara Neighbors; and his friends, Ronnie and Brenda Brooks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
