She is survived by: her son Darin Reid Spangler of Troutville; her grandchildren, Mariah Spangler and Braylynn Spangler; her nieces and nephews, Emily, Sarah, David and Connor; her aunt Thelma Leary Curtis; and also Lisa Hazelwood. She is also survived by nieces and a great nephew.
