With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelda Rhodes McDaniel (Troutville, Virginia), born in Catawba, Virginia, who passed away on July 2, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Dorothy D. Old Rhodes; her husband Richard O. McDaniel; and her brothers, Weldon (Dolores Rhodes) and Rodney Rhodes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia McDaniel and Pamela (Wesley Hartman); her grandchildren, Whitney Hall, Andrew Hall, Ian Hall, Amanda May (Nathan) and Tyler Hartman; her great grandchildren, Nick Smith, Avery Adams, Aislynn Adams, Tucker May and Brody May; her sister Mildred; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Wingate and Millie Rhodes.
