Though Leonard Samuel may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Leonard Samuel leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Zelma Divers Hubbard; his great grandchild Ross Evan Hubbard; and his great great grandchild Heaven Lane Hubbard. He is survived by: his children, Gerald Hubbard (Carol), Glenn Hubbard (Susan), Marlene Bryant (Mark), Ray Hubbard (Lorraine) and Barbara Bryant (Jimmy). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, fifty –five great grandchildren; and twenty –one great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peters Creek Old German Baptist Church (7645 Wood Haven Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Fincastle Fire Department.
