He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Phyllis; his daughter Debbie Korman; his mother Francisca Ponce; his sisters, Yolanda Kelly and Norma Smith; his sons, Ronnie Shumate, Randy Shumate (Teresa) and Edward Ponce (Gail); his grandchildren, Cynthia Ludington, Holly Llanas, Anna Shumate, Brent Holley II, Alex Ponce, Shawn Michael Shumate, Kendall Shumate and Hunter Ponce; and his great grandchildren, Harrison, Landon, Jonah, Summer, Dylan, Jason and Brycen.
