He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Aleshire and Charlotte Black Aleshire; his former wife Patricia Schwenke Aleshire; his daughter Sheri Wilson; and his sister Marian Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Aleshire; his children, Michael R. Aleshire (Patricia), Katherine Aleshire Alexander (Mark) and Marcus Lee Aleshire; his grandchildren, D. J., Jonathan, Michael, Haley, Amy and Kaelin; and his great grandchildren, Alexia and Dakota.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
