He was predeceased by: his father James Henry Keenan; and his brother Patrick Keenan. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Julia Hudick Keenan; his wife Sue Graybill Keenan; his children, James J. "Jay" Keenan, Jr. of Montvale, Erin P. Keenan of Roanoke and LeAnn Keenan Gregory of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Emilee Matthews (Cole), Ryan Patrick Dowdy, Jenna Elizabeth Nardone and Conner Bradley Dowdy; and his great grandchild Isla.
