He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Diane Harris; and his parents, Guy Astor Harris and Gay Harper Harris. He is survived by: his son Tim (Kathy); his grandchildren, Lauren (Duncan) and Scott (Grace); and his close friend Gary Gearhart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glade Creek Lutheran Church.
