It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Dennis Snell (Troutville, Virginia), born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Roy Snell (Sarah), Robert Snell and Norma Aycoth (Jack); and his sons, Christopher Matthew Snell, James Judson Snell and David Christopher Snell.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Snell of Troutville, VA; his mother-in-law Frances Morris of Roanoke, VA; his sisters, Shirley Harmon (Robert) of Statesville, NC, Vicky Henson (Thomas) and Janet Ernst (Ed) of Charlotte, NC.; his sons, Adam Snell (Susie) of Kensington, MD, John Snell (Alicia Walton) of San Francisco, CA and Robert Snell of Christiansburg, VA.; and his granddaughters, Helen Snell of Los Angeles, CA and Lucy Snell of Fairfax, VA.
