He is survived by: his wife Nancy Johnson; his children, Micah Young (Stephanie), Karen Petersen (Daniel) and Mary Anne Briles (Mike); his grandchildren, Ethan, Christiana, Luke, Rebekah, Anna Grace, Nicholas, Richard, Cade, Aidan, Eleanor, Savannah, John, Ezra, Katherine, Liesl and Jude; his siblings, David Young and Bonnie Kennedy (Butch); his nephews, Jeff Young (Susie) and Brent Young; and his niece Krista Daugherty (Casey).
