He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarman Frank and Lula Dent Thacker. He is survived by: his wife Betty East Thacker; and his children, Rae Marie Smith (Carl), H. D. Thacker (Catherine), Lee Thacker and Dave Thacker (Kimberly).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital P O Box 1000 Memphis TN 38101-9930 A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2018 at Green Ridge Baptist Church by Pastor Greg Moser and friend Doug Sweeney.
