She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi T. Citty and Ocie E. Overstreet; her husband Carl W. Brickey; her brother John D. Citty; and her son Dale E. Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia R. Morrow (Ronnie) of Durham, NC and Barry W. Roberts (Cathy) of Troutville, VA; her grandchildren, John M. Roberts (Samantha) of Eden, NC, Colin G. Benton (Bella Nelson) of Trinity, NC and Emily E. Roberts of Stoneville, NC; her great grandchild Emery Roberts; her cousins, Susan and Steve Bandy of Salem, VA; and her friends, Janet and Jon Griesenbeck of Boones Mill, VA.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's East Chapel (5188 Cloverdale Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Mt. Union Cemetery.
